Due to the size and scale of our show, we often utilize the actors to assist with various aspects of the production. This will include pre and post show responsibilities such as greeting patrons, taking photos, signing autographs and ushering. During the show you may be asked to help with set moves, scene changes, props, dresser assistance, etc. Please keep in mind we also have animals in our shows and you may be required to lead a donkey, ride a camel or horse or carry a lamb.
Several of our scenes have Angels and other characters that will fly. The actors cast in these roles will be taught how to fly and will learn flying choreography. Other scenes may require stage combat and weapon training. All those involved in these activities will attend special training and orientation classes
Hiring:
In order to be considered for employment at The Miracle Theater, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or a High School graduate.
- Have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Be willing to support the Mission and purpose of The Miracle Theater.
How To Audition:
How To Audition: All auditionees must prepare 32 measures of one song - either up-tempo or ballad - and a one minute monologue. Preferable song selections should be Contemporary, Pop or Broadway/Musical Theater in style (some belt is also recommended).
